The Network Administrator Program is designed to assess the skills of a network technician, including knowledge of network hardware, installation, and troubleshooting. The exam tests understanding in areas such as network technologies, installation and configuration, media and topologies, management, and security.
Network Configuration and Setup: Ability to install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Diagnosing and resolving issues related to network connectivity, performance, and security.
Network Security: Knowledge of securing networks, implementing firewalls, VPNs, and other security protocols to protect data and infrastructure.
Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Using monitoring tools to track network performance and making adjustments to optimize efficiency.
Knowledge of Networking Protocols: Understanding of common protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, and others.
Wireless Networking: Familiarity with Wi-Fi configuration and troubleshooting for wireless networks.
